The ability to combine both psychiatric and psychotherapeutic skills with an understanding of the spiritual realm comes from Dr. Pablo Jeczmien’s professional and personal development, including his studies in Anthroposophy. This ability also allows him to address mental health problems in a truly multidimensional way. Currently, Dr. Pablo Jeczmien is an adult consultant psychiatrist in the National Health Service. He also sees patients privately at The Riverside Practice, Forest Row, East Sussex (theriversidepractice.com). At The Riverside Practice, he provides psychotherapy for individuals as well as couples and families. He also performs studies of Anthroposophical Medicine and Anthroposophical Psychotherapy in hopes of finding new ways to translate these findings and interests into clinical practice.
In past years, Dr. Pablo Jeczmien’s responsibilities included management and university teaching. Now, he is dedicated full time to his position as an adult consultant, his private practice at The Riverside Practice and to the study and investigation into what has always been a passion of his, the philosophy of science, more specifically, psychiatry and the mind, body paradigm. His research dives into the way in which we are able to mend the bridge between the two.
Dr. Pablo Jeczmien stresses the importance of combining psychiatric knowledge with psychotherapy for therapeutic interventions and only when needed, and in agreement with his patients, the addition of medicine. He is also a member of the British Medical Association, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and is registered with the General Medical Council.
